I decided to do a piece inspired by our camping trips as a child and summer day trips with my grandpa to catch fish for us to eat. Grandpa was quite the character and kept us in stitches whenever he took us out in his little boat on the St Lawrence River or Drain Pond, or Meacham Lake or Mountain View Lake. I found this blown glass fish in some items I inherited from my Stepmom's Store after she passed away. It was quite a challenge to match the colors but I think I did it :) I used a combination of vintage orange beads, vintage cobalt disks, blue glass seed beads and blue glass tube beads.
